There’s nothing quite like the feel of a turbocharged engine, and the Audi S5 Coupe ranks right up there at the top of the list when it comes to satisfying that urge for power. PSI – The abbreviation PSI stands for “pounds per square inch.” This is the way tire pressure is measured. When you use a tire gauge to measure pressure, it shows the number of PSI. The recommended PSI is also shown on the sidewall of most tires to take out the guesswork.

Valve Stem – This is probably the most well known part of the tire because it is the part you use to add air. It is the little rubber part that sticks through the wheel.

Sidewall – The sidewall of the tire is just that – the side part of the tire. This is the part where all of the information about the tire is listed, such as the PSI, the tire size, manufacturer and more.

Tread – This is the part that makes contact with the road. Keep an eye on the tire’s tread to ensure your car has enough traction in various driving conditions.

Learn the proper terms and methods for maintaining your tires because the better you take care of the tires on your Audi cars, the better they will take care of you.
