Looking Forward to the 2010 Porsche Panamera

Currently, the Porsche line features several excellent performance Porsche vehicles, from the flagship Porsche 911 through the Porsche Cayman. In 2009, however, Porsche is set to release a new vehicle: the 2010 Porsche Panamera.

The 2010 Porsche Panamera will have an official unveinling this spring. It is expected that the vehicle will go on sale during the summer of 2009.

While the production version of the 2010 Porsche Panamera hasn’t been released, we do have some information about the latest addition to the Porsche line. It will be a four door sedan that is both wider and lower than the traditional four door sedan. The body’s design will have some elements that resemble the Porsche 911.

It’s expected that there will be several engine choices, including a hybrid model, for the 2010 Porsche Panamera. It will also feature either a manual six speed transmission or the new Porsche PDK seven speed automated dual-clutch transmission.

Review of the 2008 Porsche Cayman

The 2008 Porsche Cayman is a stunning car. It features amazing steering, precise handling, plenty of storage room for a car in its class and, best of all, that classic Porsche look you’ve come to expect.

Faster than the Porsche Boxster, but short of the performance of the Porsche 911, the 2008 Porsche Cayman is an excellent fit for an in between model. The Cayman features agile performance as well as superb handling. It’s responsive, yet it is easier to handle than the Porsche 911.

There are two trim levels on the 2008 Porsche Cayman. The base version features a 245 horsepower 2.7 liter six cylinder, while the higher end Cayman S gives you a 295 horsepower 3.4 liter engine. The Cayman S also features a six speed manual transmission, as well as upgraded wheels and brakes.

If you want a Porsche that looks good, handles well, has Porsche performance, yet won’t break the bank, consider the 2008 Porsche Cayman.
