The 2010 Porsche Boxter S is a high-performance two seater sports car with a standard 6-speed manual transmission. An optional feature, taken from the Porsche 911, is the PDK 7-speed automated manual transmission. The Boxter S is in its tenth manufacturing year, but it received its second life in 2009 and this year’s version is a step up. Boy, is it fast.

The Boxter S features Direct Fuel injection and a 3.4-liter flat-six boxer engine with 310 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. You can accelerate up to 62 miles per hour in just 4.9 seconds. I did say it was fast.

While you’re spinning around your city’s streets looking sporty in your Boxter S you can fold down the soft-top roof and let the wind tousle your hair. Another option for the 2010 Porsche Boxter S is an aluminum hard-top roof though the soft-top comes in four colors: black, blue, brown and gray.

Exterior beauty accoutrement are as charming as the Porsche’s engine parts. An automatic spoiler on the rear reduces lift and keeps you on the road at high speeds. Front end air ducts keeps the engine cool and air flowing to the radiator and brakes. There’s also a halogen headlamp that gives the vehicle is normative Porsche attractiveness and the taillights are stocked with the latest LED technology.
