One of the most exciting launches in the automotive world will take place very soon. Audi’s R8 Spyder, the ultimate in Audi hotness, will be launched at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. This convertible with a cloth roof uses state of the art fabrics that keep the inside of this vehicle quiet, comfortable, and not too hot or cold.

One of the exciting things about the 2011 Audi R8 Spyder, however, will be the engine. This vehicle will use a 5.2 liter V10 engine. The engine will produce 525 horsepower, and is similar to the engine in the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. It is expected to get from zero to 60 in four seconds or less.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see this amazing vehicle until the auto show. Audi is keeping things under wraps, and won’t be providing even teaser shots in advance of the show.
