Fall Philadelphia Festivals to Enjoy this Season

Autumn in Philadelphia is a sight to behold. The changing colors, cooler temperatures and harvest-time events make the area one large festival. Here are a few of the festivals you should definitely not miss this season if you are in the Philadelphia area.

1. Kennett Square Mushroom Festival – This fun festival occurs on September 12 and 13 and is the best place for mushroom lovers. Hundreds of people from all over the region to celebrate the unusual plant with farm tours, recipes, dishes and chefs making their best mushroom creations.

2. New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival – On September 26 and 27, this popular festival is for people who enjoy local and regional artists. The festival attracts more than 120 artists and crafters and even has booths and activities for kids.

3. Riverfront Ramble – This unique one-day festival occurs on September 19 this year and includes a 14-mile extravaganza that includes the Governor Printz Park, Market Square Memorial Park and much more. The festival consists of parties, car shows, boat rides, free concerts and much more along the route.
