The Audi TT, from the time it was announced as a concept car in 1995 until it actually started rolling off the production line, has been one of the most dramatic vehicles Audi ever produced. It’s look, from the symmetrical profiles to its slab-sided flanks, was new for Audi, and unlike anything the company had previously produced. Most interestingly, the Audi TT looked nothing like the Volkswagen Golf from which it evolved.

So, is the Audi TT a sports car, a roadster, or a sport coupe? It’s hard to fit the TT into any one category. This vehicle has the feel and the look of a real sports car, but has a personality that tends more toward luxury.

The latest version of the Audi TT, redesigned in 2008, is the second generation. It’s a little bit larger than the previous version, but the overall look and feel are the same. Audi’s single frame grill has been incorporated into this version, as well.
